"The boarding house business can't make us rich, but hopefully it can continue. It could be a source of income for us when we're not working," he said.
The business that Tya and her husband are involved in has expanded to Karawang, West Java.
There is a reason Tia built a boarding house in the area.
"When my husband saw an opportunity, he saw it as not just making a boarding house, but rather running a business. We just opened in Karawang, so there are lots of factories, lots of offices, lots of non-Indonesian employees too. So that's good, my target boarding house is going to employee," he explained.
