Deputy Principal Assistant for Operations to the National Police Chief, Inspector General Endi Sutendi, said his staff were preparing Operation Ketupat to anticipate the peak of homecoming traffic.

Not only that, National Police Chief Inspector General Endi Sutendi also explained that a number of traffic flow engineering schemes were also being prepared for the homecoming and returning flows for Eid 2025.

The National Police will hold Operation Ketupat from March 26 to April 8, said Endi Tuesday, February 25 2025 in Jakarta.

"It is estimated that the homecoming flow will be from the 28th to the 30th, then for the return flow it is estimated that the 8th and above will be the peak for the return flow," he said.

"Of course, the scheme implemented on the toll road will look at the situation and conditions on the toll road, we will apply traffic engineering such as contraflow, perhaps one flow, and also other things that will allow smooth traffic flow on the toll road, including diverting flow to arterial routes," he continued.

"God willing, we will carry it out in the middle of March, before Operation Ketupat, the Cross-Sectoral Meeting, we expect valid information from Transportation friends," he stressed.
