JAKARTA, POSTINGNEWS.ID - A resident in Sungai Geringging, Padang Pariaman Regency experienced a horrific incident on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

The victim, known as Ajo Mun, was gored by a wild boar at around 10:15 WIB.

As a result of the incident, the victim was forced to be referred to the Pariaman Regional Hospital because he had quite serious injuries to several parts of his body.

Reported from a video uploaded by the Instagram account @info.negri, an eyewitness revealed that the incident occurred when there was a PORBI activity in the area.

"The incident occurred at around 10:15 WIB (29/9/24). At that time there was a PORBI activity in this area," he said.

For information, PORBI is an organization of pig hunting sports addicts. This aims to help the community in controlling pig pests as well as being a unifying organization in the Padang Pariaman village.

In the middle of the PORBI event, there was a wild boar running towards the Sungai Geringging Market. It was explained that the panicked wild boar was cornered in front of a resident's house.

Then, Ajo Mun approached to chase the boar away, but unfortunately the boar chased and bit him for quite a long time.

"When the boar was cornered, Ajo Mun came and the boar immediately chased and bit him," he said.

Judging from the video circulating, the victim was seen fighting back but the boar continued to bite him. The middle-aged man was even seen falling and unable to fight back.
