It's been 2 days since Monday, July 29 2024, Jokowi admits that he hasn't been able to sleep well at IKN.
His first night at IKN he admitted that he was shocked and couldn't sleep until late at night.

"I'm not sleeping well. I'm telling it as it is," said Jokowi at the IKN Presidential Palace Tuesday, July 30 2024.
"Yes, maybe it's the first time, it's still nothing, it's still not good," continued Jokowi.
Jokowi announced his visit to the IKN Palace to check development progress.
According to him, construction is still underway with thousands of workers.

"Yes, we came here to check the progress of the latest developments in the construction of the IKN, especially the construction of the palace. I see that everything is still in process because there are thousands of people working here, I don't want to disturb them. So that progress is not hampered because of my arrival," he said.
Jokowi will continue to enjoy his work space at IKN even though he cannot sleep while at IKN.
"Yes, everything can still go on, everything is still going on and today I will also accept meetings here, in the president's office, but I can't invite them because there are still many people working. So that everyone who is working is not disturbed. There is still cleaning," "There is still furnishing. Everything is still in good progress," he said.
