Ammar Zoni, who was serving his prison term, was allowed to see his father for the last time.
Ammar Zoni's attorney, Jon Mathias, was also seen accompanying Ammar from the police station until he arrived at the funeral home.

"See, his father is sad," said Jon at the police station, Saturday, January 20 2024.
“The sadness is very deep,” he added.
Ammar Zoni also kissed and offered prayers to his father.
"In those two hours he saw his father, kissed his father, read Yassiin, prayed more. He doesn't talk much," he explained.
