This has been stated in a circular letter numbered B/3238/PW.01/02/2025 which was signed directly by Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.
In the contents of the letter, Dasco requested that BP Batam, the Supreme Court, and related legal apparatus implement the recommendations of Commission III to release the land revocation and demolition of the Purajaya Hotel in Batam.
The leadership of the Indonesian House of Representatives asked you (the Supreme Court, BP Batam) for the recommendations above in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the laws and regulations, wrote Dasco's statement in the letter, Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Not only revealed in the letter, the Chairman of the Saudagar Rumpun Melayu of Batam City, Rury Afriansyah, confirmed and appreciated the letter issued by the DPR.
"I really appreciate and am grateful for the recommendation letter issued by the DPR and Commission III of the DPR RI," said Rury when asked for confirmation in Batam on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
The President Director of Hotel Purajaya also hopes that the Supreme Court, BP Batam and the Police can accept the letter from the DPR.
"Therefore, I and the Batam Malay indigenous community ask that the legal apparatus, the Supreme Court immediately convey the decision and demolition of the Purajaya Hotel as in the circular letter from the DPR leadership," he said.
